We’ve just created a guide to help students more easily find a memoir that is meaningful to them in some way. Are you looking for a memoir of a person going through what you are? Someone that has completely different life experiences than you? Someone that has gone on a life-changing adventure? This has been an assignment over the years and we thought this would help students, and anybody else, looking for a good memoir.
Since this is a new guide, let us know what you think. Did you find something interesting? Do you have a suggestion for a great memoir that we missed?
How do you get to the new Memoir Guide? Click Memoir guide Or, you can get to it from the Library website, click Browse All Help Guides, then search for memoirs in the search box or click on the Guides for Courses tab and find Memoirs under that.
A few of the newer memoirs listed on the page are:
- Unfollow: A Memoir of Loving and Leaving the Westboro Baptist Church
- Know My Name: A Memoir
- Notes from a Young Black Chef: A Memoir
- Rough Magic: Riding the World’s Loneliest Horserace
