Public Broadcasting creates a lot of valuable, in-depth, rigorously-reserched educational content. Teachers now have an easy and free way to access content from shows such as Nova, Nature, Frontline, American Experience, Wide Angle, and others through Teachers’ Domain. This rich resource comes from the WGBH Educational Foundation with major funding through the National Science Foundation.
From the site:
Teachers’ Domain is a free digital media service for educational use from public broadcasting and its partners. You’ll find thousands of media resources, support materials, and tools for classroom lessons, individualized learning programs, and teacher professional learning communities.
The site does require a free registration to use resources. For those interested in pursuing careers in K-12 education, it is worth noting that the site helps you correlate content to appropriate national and state curriculum standards.
